Melinda and I went up to Whistler in Canada this weekend for a wedding out in the mountians... well kinda in the mountains, it was at a golf course next to a lake in the mountains. So freaking beautiful I can't stand it. I'll try to post a few pictures later today from our gondola ride up to the top of Whistler mountain, although I'm sure that my little digi pic won't do the scenery any justice.
I'm finally free of the east side commute and not a moment too soon. I think I was about one idiot driver away from completely freaking out and ramming my rather large American car right up their tailpipe...
I feel for the poor bastards but had to laugh when I heard on the radio this afternoon that there was a car stalled on the eastbound highrise of 520 AND one stalled on the westbound highrise! Traffic backed up for miles and miles... too bad, so sad.
I started working full time as a research assistant and boy am I happy. My boss Stuart is quite possibly one of the nicest people I have ever worked for and my friend Danielle sits just down the hall so I have someone to pester with all my tangents. I have a nice space to work at with lots of light (a stark contrast to my inside office at MS) and the freedom to work from home when ever I like... someone pinch me I think I may be dreaming.
Right now I must admit that my life rocks.
